These weekly, one-hour Zoom sessions with Tom are designed to sharpen your material and accelerate your growth. Whether you’re polishing existing jokes, brainstorming new bits, reviewing past performances, or tackling the mental hurdles of stand-up, you’ll get tailored guidance and direct, actionable feedback. No other workshop in NYC offers this level of individualized attention—this is where the real breakthroughs happen. Tom credits this same combination of weekly workout rooms and private coaching with helping him become a pro comedian.
3 GROUP WORKSHOPS

These in-person weekly “workout rooms” are curated with working comedians—no total beginners. They’re more structured and productive than open mics—each comic gets 8 minutes of stage time plus personalized feedback from Tom, along with insights from the group—making every session dynamic, supportive, and growth-focused. Workshops take place at Pearl Studios, conveniently located near Penn Station in the heart of Manhattan.

Cap it all off with a 6-minute performance in the famous showroom at Don’t Tell Mama—located on renowned Restaurant Row in the heart of Manhattan’s Theatre District. It’s a great chance to test new material and strengthen your stage presence in front of a fun, supportive audience—without the pressure of club bookers. The show often sells out, giving you some honest “data points” on your set. You’ll also have the option to get a professional video recording of your performance.
